comment Common kitchen/bathroom countertop devices that use 120V20A
The WR/TR is not yet required in my area as of yet. You would be surprised how many maintenance people that give me funny looks when they require 20 cordsets, expecting a 'T' shaped plug. Congratulations on the addition, I'll trade you my 25 year old son for yours;) Probably will be added in by 2014 if not already. As for your questions, I think my attention span is getting as sparse as my hair. Good luck on everything.

comment Designed a floating corner table, unsure of its potential strength. Any ideas?
I don't think threaded rod will give it much added strength. I think it's more for vertical support than horizontal support.

comment What is simplest strategy to map circuits to breakers in the panel?
@auujay The tool suggested is the circuit breaker tester, designed to find the breaker. woodchips is correct. You know were the breakers are but you are trying to find what the breakers feed. Use a light, radio or whatever. You can use multiple lights but you cannot run multiple testers.

comment What debuzzing coil should I use to get rid of lamp hum?
I see that debuzzing coils work, but two things to remember. 1) The dimmer is maxed out at 300 watts and 2) The longer the filament when dimmed it will vibrate more. While the 300w filament is bigger, it is stretched more than regular lamps.

comment What could be causing this electrical issue?
Thanks, I'll correct that, I don't have any breakers laying around the house and I forgot to look at work. Keep in mind that all breakers are not created equal. Some large feeder breakers could take 60 to 70 inch lbs.

comment Recommendations for portable/fold-up work surface?
I'm not in construction but I've used mine for well over 20 years. Although I have not looked for a replacement in a half dozen years, none match size and strength. The others look like kid toys.

comment What fire hazard considerations are there when creating a cable hole between rooms?
Maybe instead of duct seal you might use fire caulk
