Is there a name for PVC pipe that's approx 1/2“ ID and 5/8” OD? It is very important to remember that if the ID is larger than the OD, it is not pipe...(;-)...sorry, couldn't resist. |

Was coal ever used as an insulator? My grandfather used coal for heat and when it was delivered it was piled up not far from his house. Maybe the is where somebody kept their coal kept? It could have been mortared over after they switched heat source. |

How do I choose a circular saw? My saw is actually a cheap Craftsman, but between a table saw, a chop saw a mitre saw I don't use it unless I absolutely have to or don't want to dig the others out. If I bought a saw it would be a worm drive, but with my arthritis and other ailments, it would just collect dust with all my other power tools. But I gotem if I needum. |

Ok to use 3 wire to wire pairs of lights, for pairs of dimmers? Looks like @BMitch nailed it pretty good. Unless you have something else, he should get the answer. |

Is there a device that will allow a bathroom fan to run for 5 minutes after it is switched off? Broan makes a vent fan that has a motion switch built into the fan. Also moisture sensing available. |

Is there a device that will allow a bathroom fan to run for 5 minutes after it is switched off? I was thinking about a vacancy sensor (manual on - sensor off) that is rated for a motor load, but I can't find any. |

Is an LED light strip safe to use under a bed? What we use as a display at work stays on 24/7 and you can touch the lamps anytime and the heat is not noticeable. |
