Can I safely use a switch rated for “1A at 125V” with 240V, assuming I stay below 125W? Thanks for your input. I did say "with a 240V supply". ;-) |

Can I safely use a switch rated for “1A at 125V” with 240V, assuming I stay below 125W? Update: Last night I opened up the foot switch in an Ikea lamp to find a switch that was rated for "3A at 125V". Not really sure what to make of that! |
