comment Grouting travertine tiles: grout bag or float?
I ended up doing it as in the accepted answer (with the grout float), and it turned out great, much better than I suspected it would.

comment Which pipe to use to top-up refrigerant in a freezer?
@Tester101: could you elaborate what could go wrong? Except that I'll need to refill again as I didn't fix the root cause of the issue?

comment Which pipe to use to top-up refrigerant in a freezer?
Thanks for answering! So which one is the high side and which one is the low side? My freezer has exactly the same connections on both pipes.

$1,0000 per port? You can get a 24-port 10gbps ethernet switch for under $3K, e.g. $150 per port max. Still expensive, of course, but not even close to what you said. Also, what you said about port aggregation is a bit misleading. Yes, you can aggregate several ports, but any one stream will still be limited by one port, so if, say, you're copying files, you'll still be limited by 1Gbps connection even if you aggregated 2 of them.

comment Groutable vinyl tile in a laundry room. Is it a bad idea?
Oops, sorry missed that you said sheet vinyl. You're right, sheet vinyl is much better in every aspect except for ease of installation.

@Ecnerwal: no, unfortunately not. We've tried those (thankfully in much less conspicuous place). The seam between tiles is in the middle of the fake "grout line", and even though we glued the tiles together real tight, over time some dirt gets into these seams, and they become visible black lines. It all screams "fake"... Wouldn't do that again.
