Plug HRV (Constructo 2.0 ES) into power bar? Nah, I just remember reading somewhere that large appliances could potentially be damaged if using cheap power bars or not plugged directly into a wall. |

Plug HRV (Constructo 2.0 ES) into power bar? I remember reading somewhere or someone said something about plugging in A/Cs or other large appliances into power bars was a bad idea and could potentially damage the appliance and that they should be plugged directly into the wall socket. I just wanted to make sure before I do that. |

How can I fill a hole in wood so that it can be redrilled? Do you recommend using toothpicks or going to the hardware store to get some dowels? |

Should I install an exhaust fan in a new garage? @ratchetfreak What do I do on days where the weather is not optimal to leave a large garage door open? |

Is it normal for an air compressor's tank to have something inside it? I bought it new and I don't see any rusting. I've never used one before and there's all these warnings about combustion with rusting inside the tank, etc. I'm just worried that there'd be problems in using it. If this isn't normal behaviour, I'll just go and exchange it for another one. There's quite a bit inside, sounds like there's half a mug of sand. |

Is it normal for an air compressor's tank to have something inside it? It's a new compressor $100 that was on sale for $50. If there's not supposed to be something in there, then I'll exchange it for another one. I'm just worried if there'd be any problems using it. |
