comment What alternate ways are there to get into a garage when you don't have the opener?
I can't believe there is a garage with no windows and doors- what would you do during a power outage?

comment Can I use two wire nuts instead of one to connect 6 wires inside a 3-gang box?
@cowguy All things being equal (which of course, they never are), I'd use the one large one instead of 2 smaller ones. But that's my opinion, and it holds as much weight as you want it to.

comment Should a concrete slab slope toward my house?
Again, at a very high level, you do not want water in certain places, inside a house is one of them. Without any more details, no, I'd say this is not ok, but again, we're not there to examine the details.

comment Can I obtain grounding from a different outlet?
It may be a lot easier to simply ground the other two outlets - open up the outlet box and see if there is a ground wire present. I know you said you're renting, but if you feel that concerned about it, you can undo it when you're done.

comment Are non-GFCI outlets that are downstream of a GFCI outlet ground fault protected if they are fed from the GFCI outlet's load side?
Yes it is perfectly fine, only certain areas need gfci, and if the usage numbers for that circuit allow it, it could go other places in the house e.g., bathroom gfci to hall outlet, hall outlet doesn't need to be gfci protected.
