What would be a good material for a portable video projection surface? Thanks for the detailed and well-thought-out response. Couple problems; A) It's not just for looks. Moreover, I am willing to sacrifice some graphical quality because the only one that will be seeing it directly will be me. This is the reason I need such a small area. B) I didn't dismiss film, not for the right price. The hud business is interesting; will do more research. |

What would be a good material for a portable video projection surface? There is actually it turns out special film that you can apply to any surface - almost as expensive as the paint tho. I will call a local dealer soon and see if I can't get a better price because they quote by the square meter and I only need 1.5sq ft at most. |

What would be a good material for a portable video projection surface? Thanks for that, but I really don't want to do a fabric solution - variety of reasons. And, no offense to anybody, this paint on business is absurd - $175 a gallon? I can buy good booze at those prices. |

What would be a good material for a portable video projection surface? Yes, but that would imply more money than I consider it necessary to spend. Take, for instance, the idiotic invisible shield kits that are sold wit mobile devices. They charge about $30 for something that ships with most electronics for free. |

How to output 2.0 sound to a 5.1 speaker system then you need either this adapter or a receiver. You can build a passive amp, but tat's like saying you can theoretically rebuild your own transmission |

How to hang a baby cradle from a concrete ceiling? That sounds incredibly scary to me. Concrete is well-known for crumbling even if properly reinforced. If you have no access to a support bean I'd give this a pass. |

How can I mount an LCD TV onto the *wall* of an RV? no reason for there to be, now I think about it - not a lot of load in the roof to support. |

How should I secure the inner ring of bearing race to a wooden frame? If it works, please accept my answer. |

How should I secure the inner ring of bearing race to a wooden frame? Yes, I would definitely go with the bolt. As a general rule wood and machine parts don't really mix to well - if you look at any wheel assembly, even, say, a handtruck, wood hasn't been used for axles since the middle ages :). |

How should I secure the inner ring of bearing race to a wooden frame? Again, the inner race doesn't turn. No motion=no wear. As long as you make sure to get the right size bolt and nut, you will not contact any moving parts. You don't have to go all the way through the work, unless the work is really thin. Even if it is, and you do go through it, you can just cut the end of the bolt off with a dremel. The real trick is drilling a perfectly vertical hole. You need a drill press or really steady hands. |

What is the minimum drill voltage/power required for a plumbing snake bit? Called cust service - funny enough, they said I was the first person to call in with that question. They actually took down my number and got back to me, so thumbs up on that manufacturer for going above and beyond on a ten-dollar item. |

Snake drain gun vs compressed gas drain gun vs liquid - which is better for what? So aside from having "liquid plumber" on the bottle, how do I tell drain cleaner form what you call a "chemical cleaner"? To clarify, we had a complete clog and a slow drain. I'll post the brand name of the chemical we used if it helps, but of greater concern, how would I go about surveying and diagnosing the structural problems you describe? |
