Why is the fridge water line popping out of the connection when under pressure? I definitely agree that I should've not gone with the saddle valve, but I am not skilled enough at plumbing (yet) to be replacing valves. If I have to I will bring in a plumber to make the changes you suggest. |

Extra plastic container in toilet tank? @0A0D I assure you that it is not a milk container. It definitely seems specifically built for the purpose (it has spacing for the bolts for example), and is made of much sturdier plastic than a milk container. |

Extra plastic container in toilet tank? @BrockAdams thx for the info Brock. If I end up having to replace the flush valve I will certainly "forget" that piece. |

Leaking outdoor faucet - stop gap solution? Well, I tried purchasing the hose cap as suggested in the answer. Unfortunately, Home Depot only had shoddy plastic ones, so once the pressure of the leak built up it just pushed the leak farther back out through the vacuum seal thingy. So I started to take the thing apart, stripped the screw on the handle, broke the handle, cursed a lot, put in a replacement handle, and the leak is gone! Thanks for the help. :-) |
