comment What kind of store sells wood that isn't pine or MDF?
If you really think about it, it's not particularly localised. In most places, there will be home improvement type stores with limited wood products, and other lumber yard or timber yard type places that specialise in wood.

comment Best way to tear up half a concrete parking pad?
Get a chalk line too for marking a nice straight line. My local tool hire place had the perfect concrete saw for this that you push along like a lawnmower, and a massive jackhammer. With those, it was actually kind of fun (and much cheaper than getting a "pro").

comment What is the best way to demolish a little brick wall?
@chris that's just what I said! In my answer below... several months before you did... in my answer that was the top one prior to this answer appearing - days later - and being accepted as the top answer even though it said the same thing... actually that's pretty odd (not that it matters, but hmm).

comment Should I ground my TV antenna?
Thanks. I asked this somewhere else too and was told that not grounding the antenna could result in static charge buildup and actually increase the likelihood of a strike - this was what actually convinced me to do it in the end.
