I've been doing software development since college. I do woodworking as a hobby and will tackle just about any home improvement task when the need arises. I can only imagine how difficult is used to be to learn DIY stuff before the interweb.

How to clean the LCD screen of the television? I use damp paper towels to clean my flat panel monitors. I wouldn't hesitate to use the same on my TV. Cloth may be a better choice though. |

What do I do with receptacles behind built-ins? I like the idea of a box extender. I found a video on its use. I didn't know about these and this would certainly look better than just a hole in the back of the unit. |

How much weight can the studs in a non load bearing wall support? Probably a duplicate of this question: How much weight can you mount to a wall? |

U-Socket USB Wallplug I see a screw terminal very close to the metal jacket for the USB port. I wonder if the instructions discourage using the screw terminals and tell you to use push-in terminals in the back. It looks like they just attached the transformer to the side of a regular receptacle. I might be leery about using it. |

Small Concrete Paver patio under BBQ I did this exact thing last summer for my grill by the pool. Tester101 is right, do it right the first time, even for a small area such as this. |

How do I run ethernet cable through a wall cavity? Not totally necessary. I read crawlspace and assumed "open to the outside world." If it's inside, like an attic, and there's insulation covering the hole, I myself would skip the foam. |

How do I run ethernet cable through a wall cavity? @chris - Well, there's that...and the dust. My wife hates the dust. |
