A fellow DIYer and amateur woodworker I like working on home projects when I'm not sitting in front of a computer.

comment How do I compensate for the sun confusing my garage door opener's sensors?
What's interesting is that it happens in the morning or evening at just the right time so I'm not sure the emitter/detector swap would help. That said, how can I tell which is which? They look the same. Can I just switch it at the opener itself? Just curious as it wouldn't help anyway.

You think it's only because of volume? I think there is more too it.

comment What can I do to fix the dispenser in the front of my fridge?
About the lines being frozen . . . that's a good answer and should be an answer so I can comment on the answer and not leave a comment here that could be out of order later. The fridge is newer but I do keep it cold in the fridge part where the "water coil" is so I could check that. But since even the ice dispenser doesn't work I'm thinking the water line is fine.

No motor is running when I push the buttons . . . it's as if it's disconnected. That's why I think it's the switch but then I wonder if the switch tells the AC part to turn off too.
