@Tester101 true, although on my saw the notches are about 3 mm wide and I can't get it straight to start with. Although that's still probably more accurate than my measuring ;-)

I've decided to put a shower in instead and not use a bath, so I'll mark this as correct in the absence of any more answers. I guess as long as the bath can be put in the right place immediately this is the best option. Thanks @auujay :-)
