If you have any questions about the moderation on Home Improvement, please post a question on meta or chat. Any other attempts at communication will be ignored.

Over the last 25 years or so I've owned four houses which were in various states of disrepair and (with my wife) have renovated them all. As well as general painting and decorating I've fitted underfloor heating, renovated sash windows, fitted a wet zone shower, fitted two kitchens and three bathrooms as well as building cupboards, laying patios, insulating and boarding a loft and other jobs too numerous to mention.

Please include the relevant information from the PDF in the answer itself. That way if the link ever breaks your answer will still be useful.

comment What are the black spots on my bathroom ceiling? Are they mold?
@ray023 - anything stiff enough to bring up the mold but soft enough not to damage the surface. For tiles you can use something fairly tough.

Answerers - Please don't just post links to your "favourite" surge protector. The question is how to decide which one to buy.

comment How can I dress up a boring drop ceiling?
Shopping requests are off topic for Home Improvement. If nothing else they become outdated very quickly. I've edited the question to make it more general.

Can you post a link to a photo of the light fitting. Without being able to see the light fitting any answer is little more than a guess,.

You have already been warned about posting answers that are little more than spam. I've removed the link from this answer as it's not necessary.

comment What is the minimum roof slope to accommodate rainwater drainage?
It's really going to depend on how much rain you get. Roughly speaking the more rain you get the greater the slope (up to a point of course).
