comment Fast *safe* way to add an outdoor light
@Tester101 That would probably be the fastest, least-intrusive fix. However, I'd prefer to heavily light the north face with multiple lights. Not a bad idea for the short term, though, and certainly something I could do without an electrician if it can peek around the corner well enough.

comment Remove a screw with a broken head
@Mazura In this case the item to be hanged was deemed a failure (it was a bottle cap opener that didn't work) and so I needed to return the wall to original state. The screw shaft was penetrating slightly above the surface of the drywall, so I needed to remove it before patching.

This worked nicely. The only variation was that I used heavy wire cutters to dig out the drywall and get a tight grip on the screw and give it a few twists. At that point it protruded enough for the locking pliers to get a grip on it.

comment How can I install an overhead water tank and refill it for individual usage?
Note that there are some locations (e.g. Colorado) where you do not have legal rights to the water that falls on your roof, and doing what you suggest is (sadly) illegal if you are talking about capturing rain water.

comment Attractively anchor a wire cable into drywall
@JYelton Heh. For what it's worth, mine are indoors (few breezes) and the spiral placement I ended up with means that only two of them could ever actually swing into each other.
