How do I fill a gap between wall tile and acrylic shower base @MarcS I would consider cutting your 3 x 6 tiles into 0.5" x 6" tiles (with space for the grout line between the existing tile). Then install them in the space in between and caulk in between the new tiles and the shower base |

What type of enclosure should I use to mount a small network switch in a crawl space? I have seen this done in some old buildings, along with Ethernet switches put in attics. Leave alone the mourning and environment issues, the maintenance on those switches because a nightmare as access to those spots is not usually very conducive. Try to find a better spot to terminate your wiring and to locate your network switches. |

When would one use an impact driver versus a regular drill? +1 For the decreased head stripping. I recently had to do some maintenance on a server rack at home and the impact driver was huge help. And that was using 10/32 machine screws |

How to choose the correct bit for a screwdriver Also don't use worn out bits or screwdrivers. They do wear out from use (or abuse) |

How can I reconnect home ethernet that has been terminated outside? The HP Procurve 1810G-8 can by powered via PoE. You can stuff the switch in the box if the box is sealed and then do a PoE injector on one of the runs in the house. |

Fixing broken fence posts with Simpson Strong-Tie E-Z Mender and concrete We went with option 3+: we had the whole fence rebuilt so it would match properly. We also had the contractor set the posts 30" into the ground and in concrete. |
