May 24	comment	Can I convert a window A/C unit in to a pool-water cooled system? Doing all this work with a window unit is crazy. At least upgrade to a mini-split and then you have an external condenser to work with. Plus a quieter interior.

If you're comfortable with the electrical work, though, it's probably about the same amount of work to simply remove the box (probably involves destroying it) and reinstalling a bit higher. This assumes you have slack in the cable too, so your approach is safer.

Jan 17	comment	Why won't my shower fully heat up? Your shower valve could just be broken. Mineral buildup can sometimes interfere with the valve's operation. I had a shower valve that wouldn't allow any hot water to flow due to mineral buildup, and a soak overnight in vinegar fixed it.
