What size are you talking about?

comment How do I make skirting boards removable?
It's stronger than a hook and loop connection but still easily capable to separate and actual removal is even easier, you can literally roll it off.

comment How can I locate a short in a 24V central A/C circuit?
The wire colorings of HVAC systems are used as a guide that not everyone decides to follow when installing systems so make sure to document where each wire goes to before disconnecting. This will at minimum get you safely back to where you started.

comment Why won't my hose bib handle turn either way?
That valve stem is typically a square, I doubt the handle being loose is their big issue.

comment DIY solution for open ground wiring where electronics need to be plugged in?
@bib No. That doesn't prove it grounded all the way back to the grounding electrode. Assuming that you don't have a short between your neutral and the cladding anywhere in the branch circuit, no where does the cladding cross a metal water pipe, and what ever panel it comes from is properly grounded then yes it means you have a proper ground. They are most likely safe assumptions but still assumptions.

can you provide the NEC reference for "No Equipment Ground". I was reading it last week but cannot find it again; thought I saw something else like standard 3-prong required it but GFI did not. Also wondering where GFI breaker falls into the mix.

My pot lights are like this, I just didn't feel like using a ladder and taking pictures.

comment What should I do about a high spot in my new driveway that is causing rain water to backup?
Contact whoever put it in, they got the pitch wrong. The cheap, easy(relative to other options), and ugly fix is to using a concrete saw and cut a small drainage path.

The knurled brass piece at the bottom of the picture looks promising.

comment Why won't my ceiling light turn off with the wall switch disconnected?
If there are only 3 wires in the switch box and it's live then you have a switch in an outlet box or you measured something wrong. Something is definitely wrong here and sorry but I'm favoring the latter.

Are there any additional wires in the ceiling box?

comment What is this pipe called, and how does it work?
You should never leave it uncapped because you'll be letting the sewer vapors constantly enter the house and it can cause you sickness. Water (and the sewage with it) will take the path of least resistance, so it happily travel further down a larger pipe (your drain) than try to go up a narrow pipe (your cleanout).

comment How do I go about making 1“ and 2” thick “boards” for concrete furniture?
Look into concrete counter tops, it uses the same products and process you're looking to do except it's a more popular DIY project so you'll find more readily available information.
