comment How do I fix a chlorine feeder that's nearly impossible to open?
Do you think the cap has expanded or that the container has shrunk? I assume this is a PVC-like plastic which has a bit of natural slickness to it. Is there a lubricant or restorative you can use? Perhaps teflon tape?

comment Why is my brand new PEX clear tubing turning green near the hot water heater?
If you think its algae try an experiment: Cover half of the clear PEX that is turning green with something that blocks light. Tape, cardboard, whatever. Wait a few days (weeks?). If its algae the covered part of the pipe will not be green, but the uncovered part will still be green.

comment New Vanity: Sink Won't Drain Completely
There are threaded connectors on there that will let the OP check/clean the trap. There is one between the chrome and trap and one just after the trap. Unthread those and check for hairballs. Run a snake down the main drain while you've got it apart anyway.

comment What is the best way to get rid of plants growing in my walls?
Rental. That means its someone elses problem. As an aside, any idea what kind of plant? I'd like to hazard a guess that its beans from a kitchen spill that got into the wall.

How permanent does this need to be? Are you living out of your RV for the long haul? Is this just living in the RV during construction?

I get catalogs from ULine that have similar things. HarborFreight may have them locally for cheap. McMaster-Carr has everything. TSC may even have these.

I believe I saw This Old House do a DIY arrestor by just installing 12-18" of copper pipe on a T-fitting with a cap on the end.

Why is covering the returns controversial? Unproven? Varying effect for each house? Dangerous? Same question for covering registers, what are the pros and cons?
