Born and raised in Southeast Louisiana, graduated with CS degree from the University of New Orleans and currently working towards Masters degree in Computer Science also. I have always been interested in computers, and becoming a programmer seemed a natural progression for me. It fits my personality and gives me a new puzzle to solve everyday.

What to look for when picking a router? I actually have been contemplating building a router table also, not because I can do better than what is commercially made, it just seems like a fun project. So thanks for the input, definitely great things to consider. |

What to look for when picking a router? Thanks for the thoughts. My only concern would be the storage. I have a fairly small tool shed, so space could become an issue. Plus there is the explaining to the wife about having multiples off the same tool. But food for thought for sure. |

How to set metal fence posts? @shirlockhomes Thanks for the tips, it worked great this past weekend, although I am sore now. Only thing I would add is to pour half the bag of concrete in, get it level and then put the rest. I found it difficult on the first post to get it to move with the hole filled. |

How to set metal fence posts? I was thinking 8' posts, but that was part of the reason for my question. As depending on how deep it should be, would determine the length of my post. Based on your answer 8' should work pretty well. The concrete trick is a nice addition, thanks for that. |

Extending concrete Slab thanks, I just finished pouring earlier today. Will see how it looks tommorrow. While forming it all up, I actually discovered the original was 6 inches thick. So drilled a 1/2 inch hole and used 1/2 rebar as dowels to tie it all together. Thanks for the suggestions. |
