I have halogen track lighting in my apartment. I took one of the bulbs out to see how much power it draws, as I'm considering replacing the halogen bulbs with LEDs. The bulb says it's and M62 FTD, takes 12V and requires 20 W. Notably, the fixture is labeled MR11, but I don't know if this means it takes MR11 bulbs or if it's just the product number for the fixture.

Now, I've not been able to find any LEDs online that are advertised as M62 compatible, but I have found a lot that are MR16 compatible. Both bulbs use the standard G4 connector and take 12V as input. That said, buying 8 LED bulbs is kind of expensive, and I'd like to know if they'll work before I get them.

Can I use MR16 or MR11 bulbs with this setup?

If not, what should I use?
