It has been about 3 or 4 weeks but I have not painted or primed them yet. It rained today so now they are wet. They are pressure treated.

So how long do I have to wait now to paint them since they are wet now.

I've always heard not to paint pressure treated pine for from six months to a year to give it time to dry out. But, I went ahead and painted some a few years ago that had only had a few weeks to dry out. Now the paint is peeling off. I've read that if you sprinkle water on the wood and it gets absorbed, it's dry enough to paint. But, I haven't tried this myself. – getterdun Feb 4 '14 at 3:16
