Living in a cold area what one is better?

I think for a family where there are people that live in the house mostly of the day the floor-heating should be the best in term of quality and saving money, but where two people work all day (leave home at 8 am and come in at 7 pm)?

Radiant from what source? Ceiling panels, radiators, sunlight, fireplace, underfloor? – BMitch Dec 29 '13 at 12:06
I would assume it would be using Radiators. In-Floor radiant heating will always be more efficient at heating, and give you more even heating throughout the structure as opposed to using Radiators placed throughout the house. – Mnc123 Dec 29 '13 at 22:47
