I have a Roomba 500 series, which would do its little dance going through every room in my house. When it's done, however, the dustbin is always left empty! (and the floor is still dirty)

I noted that the "agitator" part (the 2 revolving brushes) does work, so all these great robotshop guides won't do any good

I Also found this which is way too advanced for me.

I suspect that the vacuum motor isn't getting any juice, or jammed. Any ideas?

This question appears to be off-topic because it is about small appliance repair. – BMitch Nov 1 '13 at 15:38
@BMitch, can you help with finding it a better home? – ihadanny Nov 1 '13 at 15:39
I'm not aware of an SE where this would be on topic. gadgets.SE failed a long time ago. You can always ask others in the chat room where on-topic is optional. – BMitch Nov 1 '13 at 15:41
Sounds like the guys over at Electronics might like this one, as I'm sure there are a bunch of electronics inside a Roomba. – Tester101 Nov 1 '13 at 15:44
Quote from the electronics stackexchange close dialog box: "Questions on appliance repair are off-topic unless they involve specific troubleshooting steps and demonstrate a good understanding of the underlying design of the device being repaired." – Kaz Nov 7 '13 at 22:36
