We recently mudded new sheetrock, followed by orange peel texture: it was our first time doing this so did not get a perfect outcome. We wish now that we had primed/sealed it before texturing, but didn't know the benefits going into the project. What do we need to know before priming/sealing the textured sheetrock to best disguise the imperfections as much as possible?
