I am living in a rental apartment, and so would not like to make holes in the wall. How can I create a small shelf which can hold shampoo bottles, Washing detergent, etc. Does amazon have any thing with vacuum holders, then what is the name of such a product?

To expand on aphoria's answer, if you want something in the bathroom proper, you can use:

  • Baker's rack or other over-the-toilet-tank shelves
  • Small bathroom floor cabinet, like a large night stand
  • Shelves/cabinets that stand on the bathroom counter, including over-the-sink shelves
  • Shelves/hooks/basket that hang over the door

If you want something inside the shower, look for:

  • Suction cup shelves
  • Free-standing water-proof shower shelf units
  • Floor-to-ceiling tension pole shelves
  • Shower caddy that hangs off the shower head
  • Shelves/baskets that hang off hooks on shower handles

Basically, walk into any bath-themed store or department store and look around. :)
